Christmas decorations, as beautiful and wonderful as they are, kind of feel like a waste of money sometimes.
THERE I SAID IT.
I wish wish wish I could rock into John Lewis’ or Next or TK Maxx and spend every last penny I have on baubles, lights and ornaments to adorn my little flat.
As I’m on a student budget and December is shaping up to be pretty pricey, I’ve tried to stock up on some Christmas decorations without blowing all my SAAS on unnecessary things.
Has it been successful?
Sort of it. Next year I’ll definitely be adding a lil more and then the next year, a lil more.

We are putting up our tree on the 1st for a night of arguing over decorations, eating Camembert, drinking this cocktail and, most importantly, watching Love Actually.
I’m super happy with all the decorations, especially the star as it doesn’t look tacky.
The tree is a bit gross buuut it was only £15 and I think it’ll look a lot better with all it’s decorations on it.
Next stop: that Christmas Tree smell that you buy in a can.
