At one point i the last two weeks I was just chilling in Ali’s pool on my phone (I know I’m a risk-taker), checking all my notifications (all, as if I’m that popular, I had about two) when I noticed Elanor from Tiggy Poes and Flutterbys had tagged me in a tweet. She had nominated me for this, the Infinity Dreams Award, which is a fun sort of blog chain thing. It reminds me slightly of chain mails which circulated by phone between the years of 2009-2011. I was a hip and happening kid. However I really appreciate this so big thank you to Elanor for this opportunity! I began writing this whilst chilling in my swimsuit with wet, straggly, sand filled hair and some pretty impressive sunburn just to set the scene for y’all. But I finished writing it in my pyjamas back in the rainy and cold UK. Here we go …

My Questions and Answers
1.How long have you been blogging for?
The precise date I created a blog was 1st January 2015 where all of a sudden I felt inspired and I started a blog called What She Does. Around nine months later I created The Monday Project and in March of this year, I moved my blog from Weebly to WordPress. And voila, here we are. I don’t always blog regularly as life gets in the way or I lack inspiration, but this is something I’m aiming to work on this year wooo!
2. How did you choose the name for your blog?
The Monday Project came about for two reasons. Firstly, I am a huge fan of The Mindy Project as I find the main character both some I am able to relate too whilst also being inspired by her. Therefore The “Monday” Project is a nod to that TV show. Secondly, when I make a change to my life or something in it, I typically like to do it on a Monday. It’s probably something to do with the fact Monday is the beginning of a new week but I feel if I start on a Monday, there’s a good chance I will carry it on all week. So as this blog is a project for me, it felt right to me to start it on a Monday. So that is how my blog got its name.
3. Are there any bloggers who have inspired you?
There are two bloggers who have inspired me, especially in order to start up blogging in the first place. Hannah Gale is hands down my favourite blogger. I read her blog religiously, subscribe to her posts and follow her on Instagram and Twitter. She’s so relateable, funny, insightful and makes you feel like you are not alone in life’s woes. Another blog I feel inspired by is Hayley from Frock Me I’m Famous. I don’t read her blog regularly but at the minute I’m really interested in her #12Countries12Months project. I would love to be able to travel the world someday and check beautiful places off one step at a time and Hayley’s project has inspired me to make that dream a reality. In the next few years I hope to tick several places off my bucket list!
4. What was the last thing you saw at the cinema?
The last film I saw at the cinema was X-Men: Apocalypse. I’m a big fan of Marvel films and I was excited when I saw the trailer for this one. I saw this in the cinema in the Bahamas with Ali, her sister Tori and their friend Camilla in order to experience “Bahamian cinemas”. The adverts really are something I’ll tell ya that.
5. If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?
If I could go anywhere in the world, I would probably go to New Zealand. I’m fascinated by the landscape there and the culture so hopefully one day I’ll make it across there. And fan girl over where they filmed The Hobbit/Lord of the Rings obviously.
