6 things i’m crushing on style wise.

I’m currently going through that phase where I hate everything in my wardrobe. I’m at a bit of a loss of what my ‘style’ is in the sunnier months (despite declaring 2018 my year of living stylishly) and would quite happily mooch about in sweatpants and flip-flops for the rest of eternity.

Today I sat my final university exam for third year so it is officially summer in my eyes now kids. I’m heading off on my holidays on Wednesday to beautiful Amsterdam and Sweden and whilst I won’t have any new clothes in my suitcase as I’m so skint, a girl can dream right?

I would love nothing more than to place a massive ASOS order right now but instead I’m biding my time and whipping up a jazzy wish list instead full of the all the pieces I would most definitely be spending my money on if I was not so poor. Any excuse for online window shopping.

{1} ASOS Midi Skirt with Double Split | This is the thing I most want on this list. Ever since Chloe Plumstead graced us with her beautiful black midi skirt I have been lusting after one. I am having the age-old ‘but will you actually wear it?’ battle with myself but I’m slowly talking myself. I’m thinking styling it up with all the tees I own and my beloved Stan Smiths for a laid-back summer outfit.

{2} ASOS Marketplace Vintage Denim Jacket | I have had my trusty vintage denim jacket from Beyond Retro since 2014 and I’m in the mood for a change. Mine is a more cropped style and has an acid wash which I do love but I’m lusting after something a bit more classic and oversized. A few of my friends have more oversized styles and considering how much wear I get out of my denim jacket in the summer months I know I’d wear it.

{3} Old English Company Enamel Pins | Styling up a denim jacket with enamel pins is a must and Old English Company has some adorable ones. I have a bit of thing for pineapples so the pineapple one is a must for me and I think ‘coffee then the world’ is the cutest thing I’ve seen this month. Old English Company are currently hosting a competition to celebrate the adorable new enamel pin collection. You can win a set of three and to enter you need to email your favourite from the whole collection! Enter here and winner is picked the 30th May.

{4} Nobody’s Child Button Up Spot Midi Dress | This is a combination of like my three favourite things: button up, midi length and spots. Spots! I’m always coveting after a Nobody’s Child dress or two and I used to have a gorgeous jumpsuit from them until I broke the zip whilst wrestling into it drunk. They have beautiful whimsical patterns perfect for summertime and lazy sunshine filled afternoons.

{5} Birkenstock Arizonas | It is my life goal to own a pair of Birkenstocks. I think if I had my way and finally bought a pair (way out of my price range at the moment) I would get a classic black style so I could wear them with everything! They look so comfy yet stylish and just scream summer to me.

{6} Urban Outfitters Black Jumpsuit | Do I have £69 to spend on a freaking jumpsuit? I absolutely do not. I think that makes me want it more. Jumpsuits are my absolute favourite and I’m personally offended that my wardrobe is lacking a classic black one. In summer super easy to wear with sandals but in winter you can layer up with jumpers, trainers and jackets. I’ll be keeping an eye on this one dipping into the sale (fingers crossed) …
